Netiquette is the set of rules for behaving properly online, and it affects pretty much everything. If you have bad netiquette on the Internet it will affect your ability to get a job, how people think of you online (your reputation), and much more. Some examples of good netiquette are remembering the human, being ethical, know where you are in cyberspace, don’t online bully, respect other people’s time, don’t flame, etc. Some examples of poor netiquette are typing in all caps, spamming people, cyber bullying, etc. Have good netiquette and people will respect you!

Explaining Social Networks
1. A social network is a place on the Internet to interact, communicate and talk to others. This is called social because you are with others, not just on the Internet to get information.
2. A digital footprint is the "footprint" you leave behind on the Internet. For example, if you post a status about how stupid McDonald's is on your social network, then go to get a job there, you left a bad footprint for the McDonald's people trying to hire you.
3. Social networking affects your footprint because anything you do on a social network is part of your digital footprint. So if you post a status about how stupid your boss is on a social network, then you boss see's that he is looking at your digital footprint. If he see's that he will probably fire you too. So always be careful on what you put your foot on, you don't want your digital footprint in the wrong place.

Copyright Summary
Copyright is illegal, simple as that. But illegal doesn't explain it all, there's many gray area's on whats legal and whats illegal. So what is actually illegal? Thanks for asking, lets find out! A journey through the mystical land of copyright, let's begin:
File sharing over the Internet isn't always illegal. For example if a new band wants to get their name and songs out there, they can upload them to the Internet so everyone can listen to them. It is illegal when a band that's BIG doesn't need to get there name out there, and people take there songs and upload them to the Internet to share. It's illegal because the big band doesn't want people to listen to there music for free, they want to make money. And if your getting it for free, there not making money, therefore your ripping them off, therefore its illegal.
All in all, if the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Trust me, Justin Bieber isn't giving out his latest hits for free, and if it says there free there is probably a virus involved. So don't get into the hassle of virus, government problems, computer crashes and more! Just buy your music and be done with it!
<----- FROSTWIRE IS ILLEGAL! DON'T USE IT!

ZZ Top vs. John Lee Hooker Copyright Case
This copyright case was to do with music. ZZ Top was accused of ripping off blues legend John Lee Hooker. Shortly after WWII, John Lee Hooker, along with Bernard Besman, wrote a classic blues song called Boogie Chillen. Hooker went on to record three versions of the song. Then in 1973 ZZ Top made a song named La Grange, and in 1991, Bernard Besman heard this song and got a case of deja vu. Then being head of La Cienega Music, the copyright owner of Boogie Chillen, Besman decided to sue against ZZ Top. The results of the case was the judge dismissed part of the suit stating that the 1948 single and 1950 remake were in the public domain.

Research Project Wrap Up
I think my research project actually went very well. I thought it went well because--surprisingly--North Korea is a hard place to find tourist attractions, but I still managed to do it. My favorite part of my project was finding out that N. Korea has do many beautiful places to visit and that it was sad that a lot of people aren't aloud to visit them! I still learned a ton about my country though, some things are it is very cultural, the governament is strict but not horribly strict, and they have some of the best museums in the world there. The most difficult task in my whole presentation was actually finding places to visit there because North Korea doesn't support tourism that much. Suggestions I have for future presentations is pick a better country to visit. All in all though, North Korea is actually a beautiful place, it's just sad a lot of people can't visit there.

My New Year in Review!
This last year of 2011 was very good. The highlight of this year was defiantly coming into high school because how much better it is than the Junior High, not only because its more people but also because there is more freedom. Your aloud to wear ripped pants and they're more lose on the rules.
My low point of 2011 would have to be every other week when I got in fights with my parents. I feel really bad about it and one of my new year's resolutions this year is to be nicer to them.
My goals for 2012 are simple, be more nice to my parents, workout every other day and grow.
If I was given $100,000 dollars I would immediatly put 75,000 of it in my bank account so I wouldn't accidentaly spend it all. Then I would buy nesecary things like a car for when I'm 16, new computer for the family, home repairs and then go to the mall and find everything else I want.
